CAMPBELL RIVER RUGBY ALUMNI SUPPORTER
CRRAS - Questionable able bodies must have rugby shorts, rugby socks, mouth-guard and cleats and must be able to explain what a practice is.
If needed (highly unlikely) practices might be on Thursdays Willow Point Park Field 2 6:00 pm -7:30 pm, and subject to change with games on most Sundays. Yearly support fees are $125.00
Welcome Older Wiser River Ruggers, for those of you currently active in the club or for those who have been away from the club due to other commitments, it is time to put the club back into your life by joining CRRAS . After a few years of doing the Las Vegas Sevens ,Vancouver Sevens, and even the Langford Sevens many of us saw old rugby friends we haven't seen in years and enjoyed our short visits together. We were able to have a laugh or two at someone else's expense and reminisce of the glory days when we were all legends in our own minds.
What is the purpose you ask? To ensure that Campbell River Rugby continues to flourish and grow, promoting a sport that is dear to our hearts and fostering a camaraderie that is unique to rugby.
CRRAS Objectives:
Assisting the "Executive of the day" in meeting their current and future objectives;
Help provide funding for the club's Representative Players when selected;
Ensure the club traditions and values are passed on to the youth of our club;
Staging an annual Alumni gathering for the purpose of friendship;
Keep in touch through semi annual Alumni Newsletters. Maybe the “Crapper” will be resurrected.
Get 1 or 2 old boys game in for those still able
The AIM in our first year is to encourage 60 people to join CRRAS, realizing $7,500.00 annually for the club.
